Questions
How long does the drawing take?
About a minute. It runs two passes — the first works out your pet, the second draws it in the style you picked. Slower than a filter, and that is exactly why it does not look like one.
What makes a good photo?
Their face, reasonably lit, reasonably sharp. A phone photo is completely fine. Head-on or three-quarter both work well. If they are tiny in the frame, in deep shadow, or facing away, the drawing has less to go on and it shows.
I have more than one pet.
We draw up to three and place them together with the Line-Up look. Each one is drawn separately, so they all keep their own markings rather than blurring into one generic animal.
Will it actually look like my dog?
That is the entire job. We copy the real markings rather than drawing a handsome example of the breed. And you see the result before you pay, which nobody else in this category lets you do.
Do you do cats?
Yes. Dogs and cats are what we tune for. Other animals go through and often come out well, but we are not promising it yet — we would rather under-claim than take your money for something we have not tested properly.
Is the artwork AI?
Yes, and we say so plainly. See About for why we think showing you the result first is a better deal than promising it will be good.
What if I don't like it?
Draw it again, pick another style, or leave. Nothing is charged until you decide to buy.
Can I use the drawing myself?
The drawing of your pet is yours. Put it on whatever you like.
Do you keep my photo?
We keep it only as long as we need it to make and fulfil your order. See our privacy policy.
